Calling America

Now that I have to pay my own phone bill, I realize now more than ever that calling people is expensive, especially if it is long distance! I’ve looked into a few computer calling systems- i.e. where you call a landline or a mobile phone from your computer, but they all required too much work like money, downloads and odd restrictions. But, today, I just heard about the coolest new site called CallingAmerica.com and the best part about it is that is absolutely free! You don’t have to download a thing nor do you even have to register! All you do is go to the website, type in the US number that you want to call, and viola, you are connected to your party. Of course, to use this you must have some sort of microphone and your call will only last two minutes in duration if you choose not to register. If you register though, you can make unlimited calls! Registration is very easy and free. CallingAmerica.com is able to keep the calls free thanks to advertisers. You will have to listen to an ad before you call can be placed, but you won’t have to buy anything or pay for the phone call. I think it evens out in the end! Check it out if you ever need to call anyone in the US and don’t want to pay!
