Old Fashioned Shaving

No doubt we have come a long way in the history of humanity when it comes to improvements in how we do things. For example, it is much easier to preserve food now, thanks to refrigeration, than it was two hundred years ago. However, just because we have learned a lot and changed our ways doesn’t mean that the old ways were bad or that the new ways work any better than the old ways. One area of life that is true in is shaving. Old fashion shaving supplies are actually better for you than the newfangled ones for a few reasons. Safety razors such as merkur razors, parker razors, or derby razor blades offer a lot of benefits such as reduced incidence to no incidence of razor burn, ingrown hairs and razor bumps! Just think of it, after you learn how to use a safety razor, you’ll be able to enjoy a hassle free way to shave. Of course, finding traditional safety razors and supplies such as shaving hair brushes or shaving bowls might seem like a hassle, but there is a great website out there called Better Shaving that has everything you’ll need. Check it out if you want to learn more about old fashioned shaving or you are just looking for some good shaving soaps!

I used to buy those razor blades but they made me itch. I went back to using my electric shaver. It's just annoying sometimes when the cord keeps popping out, but I can put up with it.
