Britney Spears

I remember, back in the day when I was much younger, when Britney Spears first came out musically and first began to get popular. Her music then had a very different ring to it than it does now. Slowly, over time, her image also began to change. She was seen less and less a pure good girl and took on more of a bad-girl sort of image. I also remember when she first got married and later had it annulled. Then, when she married Kevin Federline, I’m quite sure that I wasn’t the only one who was a bit confused by that action, especially because, correct me if I remember wrong, his last girlfriend was pregnant with his baby at the time. Of course, here again, britney spears music changed again. Then, when she had her first child shortly followed by her second, I though that perhaps Britney Spears was making a comeback for the better. However, a lot of chaos and drama followed the birth of her second child and her subsequent break-up with Kevin Federline. No doubt that this was a very difficult time for Britney and this was reflected in her music or lack thereof. However, now, for once, it finally seems that Britney Spears is back on track with her life, including her relationship with her children, and back on track with her career. The music that she been producing for the past few years have a much more grownupish tone that ever before. She also seems unapologetic for the way she used to be, and can you really blame her? I think that she has led a very crazy life in the limelight and it is good to see her finally settling down, getting out her emotions, and getting back in tune, or out of tune, with the rest of the world.

I love Britney. Well, I think I love the idea of her. It's amazing that after all she's been thru, she was able to pull herself back together. I've been streaming her newest CD on imeem.com for the past week and I'm anxiously awaiting the documentary they're airing about her on MTV tonight. It should be interesting to see what she has to say.

hmm..what Brit has to say huh?! not much. but anyway..she seemed to just repeat herself, complaining how she can't walk outside because of the paparazzi and her fans following her and what it's like to be her..for one day, how hard it is. Firstly, Brit wouldn't even be out of the psyche ward let alone on the air and rebuilding her career, if not for her father, who has taken over managing not only her career but her entire life! This was much needed after the bad job her mother and her did of it. Not once did I hear from her pretty mouth one word of gratitude for this chance she is getting to reestablish herself both in the eyes of the world and herself. She did say how she hated people who bitched about their plight in life without seeing how much better off they are than the average person but.. I still think she is really out of touch with the rest of the world. The camera sure does love her tho and I really do hope she can keep it together this time as she claims to be wiser..if not for herself, but her family.

Peace you all.
